- Traveling professionals are prioritized for assignments and may be scheduled across multiple departments based on staffing requirements.
- In cases where the primary department has reduced needs, assignments will be shifted to ensure contract completion.
- The MLT conducts various diagnostic tests across multiple laboratory disciplines, including hematology, urinalysis, and chemistry.
- Minimal interpretation and judgment are necessary for executing analytical processes, although proficiency in routine interpretive testing may develop with experience.
- Responsibilities may also encompass phlebotomy, specimen handling, calibration monitoring, and equipment maintenance.
- Standard troubleshooting procedures are established, allowing for straightforward equipment upkeep.
- Complex issues or anomalies are escalated to senior staff for resolution.
- Work is conducted independently under the general oversight of a laboratory manager.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or in a related laboratory role is required.
- Proficiency in pediatric and adult phlebotomy is essential.
- Candidates must maintain a permanent residence outside a specified radius.
- Prior experience in travel assignments is advantageous.
- Two recent professional references from supervisors or managers are required.
