About the Retail Operations Supervisor Role:


The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing store functions, including expense management, merchandising, safety protocols, and workforce coordination, while enhancing both customer and employee satisfaction and driving sales growth.

Daily responsibilities may involve assisting customers on the sales floor, mentoring team members, managing inventory deliveries efficiently, and collaborating with fellow management on various tasks.



Essential Duties:
Ensure the store is ready for operations and that all closing procedures are completed effectively

Maintain an appealing store environment and well-organized displays

Uphold high standards of employee conduct and provide coaching as needed

Embrace the company's values and foster a customer-focused and engaged team

Keep both your responsibilities and workspace orderly

Complete tasks accurately and on time, often under pressure

Independently manage workload and prioritize effectively

Address customer concerns and ensure resolution

Assist in managing employee schedules to guarantee adequate staffing

Professional Qualifications:
Self-motivated with a desire for personal growth

Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Proficient in troubleshooting and multitasking

Dependable, trustworthy, and responsible

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Basic math skills

Ability to learn and adapt to new skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience Requirements:
Retail Operations Supervisors should possess one or more of the following:

Associate or Bachelor's degree, particularly in a retail-related field (Business, Retail Management, Sales, Communications, etc.)

1+ years of retail experience

1-2 years in a supervisory capacity

Prior experience with retail brands is advantageous

Experience in roles such as department manager, key holder, or shift lead is valued.

Work Schedule:
As an employee-owned entity, Bi-Mart stores operate Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Hours may vary based on operational needs.
