Job Summary:


The Aviation Passenger Services Supervisor is accountable for the comprehensive management of NANA's passenger services operations and the administrative functions of our airline station.

Our clientele includes a diverse range of world-class domestic and international airlines.

NANA staff serve as representatives of the airline, engaging directly with travelers at the airport.

This position is salaried-exempt, with compensation commensurate with experience and performance. The work schedule is flexible, adapting to service requirements, with peak summer periods often requiring 50-60 hours per week.

Reports directly to:
Director of Passenger Services.
Responsibilities
- Represent the organization in daily interactions with airline clients, passengers, airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.

- Contribute to the formulation and execution of operational policies and procedures related to service delivery for our airline partners.

- Identify operational requirements and engage in planning to address them.
- Responsible for developing staff schedules.
- Directly manage communication with airline clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Handle staff disciplinary matters.
- Ensure that Passenger Services personnel are up-to-date with all necessary training.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience in airline passenger services is essential.
- Experience in airport ramp services is preferred.
- Leadership experience is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
- A friendly and outgoing customer service demeanor is essential.
- Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and a thorough background check is required for obtaining and maintaining a security identification badge.


Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operational procedures, and customer service policy manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively in one-on-one situations and before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Abilities:
- Apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Aviation Passenger Services Supervisor may occasionally lift or move up to 200 pounds with assistance, frequently lift or move 60 pounds, and consistently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

This role requires regular use of hands, verbal communication, listening, bending, stooping, kneeling, and frequent standing and walking.

The position may also involve climbing, sitting, and balancing.

Work may be conducted outdoors, exposing the individual to various weather conditions, including rain, snow, wind, and extreme temperatures.

The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate but can vary significantly based on location and time of day.

High noise levels may necessitate the use of hearing protection, which will be provided.
