Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Officer to join our team at Horizon Air. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role of Second in Command on commercial flights, responsible for the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure all necessary paperwork and restrictions are in place.
  • Collaborate with the Captain to ensure a smooth and safe flight experience.
  • Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA) and Company Flight Procedures to ensure the highest level of safety.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
  • Have a minimum of 1,465 hours of total flight time or R-ATP qualified.
  • Meet the FAA's requirements for Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in part 121 operations.
  • Hold a current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Be able to maintain a valid passport allowing unrestricted travel to and from the U.S.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 100 hours of multi-engine flight time.
  • 100 hours flown in the last 12 months.
  • Four-year degree from an accredited University.
