Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Staff Accountant to enhance the ProSmile financial team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive financial records to monitor our assets, liabilities, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general ledger with precision.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements along with other balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted figures to actual results.
  • Provide necessary documentation to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Assist in the creation of audit schedules.
  • Help implement and uphold accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • CPA candidate preferred.
