Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Staff Accountant to contribute to the financial integrity of ProSmile. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive financial records that accurately reflect our assets, liabilities, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements along with other balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing budgeted figures to actual results.
  • Provide necessary documentation and assistance to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Help in the preparation of audit schedules.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects and additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • CPA candidate status is preferred.
