Position: Front Desk Agent
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, responsible for warmly welcoming and registering them upon arrival. Your role includes explaining accommodations, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth check-out experience. You will address a variety of guest inquiries and requests, providing personalized recommendations to enhance their stay while adhering to company policies and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently check in guests, ensuring room assignments and rates are accurate.
- Process check-outs, ascertain guest satisfaction, and settle bills accurately.
- Manage incoming reservations via phone and respond to inquiries about hotel services.
- Handle guest complaints and service requests to exceed expectations.
- Operate as the hotel phone operator, directing calls and delivering messages.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using front desk software.
- Ensure the cash and billing drawer is balanced and manage all transactions responsibly.
- Follow brand standards for processing guest stays and utilize suggested selling techniques.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to update room statuses.
- Stay informed about safety procedures and maintain equipment in working order.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
