We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated nursing students and new RNs to participate in our Nurse Residency Program: Labor and Delivery Track. This 26-week program is designed to provide a smooth transition into the L&D RN role and equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this challenging and rewarding field.
Program Highlights- Accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs
- Recognized by the ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) as an Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAP)
- Preceptor-led clinical experiences in 4 areas of the Labor & Delivery unit: Labor & Delivery, Peri Op, OB High Risk, and Antenatal
- Continued residency meetings during months 6, 8, 10, and 12 to further develop as professional nurses and integral members of our caregiver team
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school before June 2025 (BSN preferred)
- BLS required
- Less than 12 months of experience from the program's start date
- Delaware or Compact State licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Submit a cover letter expressing your interest in this specific program/specialty
- Address your cover letter to Gina Scott

- Two clinical recommendations will be required, but not at the time of the application
