Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team at Equinox. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the accounts payable process, including payment forecasting, statement reconciliation management, internal controls, and vendor communications.
Responsibilities:- Manage the Accounts Payable function, including coding invoices, verification, and entering vendor invoices for approvals.
- Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure a smooth Procure-to-Pay process.
- Oversight of both the corporate credit card program and the Concur expense reimbursement program.
- Establish relationships across departments and business units to obtain proper approvals for invoices.
- Assist with the implementation of automated systems or ERP upgrades.
- Review vendor statements and reconcile missed invoices and identify discrepancies and credits.
- Support the finance departments with accounts payable projects as required.
- Manage year-end IRS Form 1099 reporting process.
- Ensure all internal control procedures are understood by the team and performed as required.
- Manage vendor master data, including compliance with new vendor set up processes and internal control policies.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, including review of work to ensure that invoices and payments are appropriately recorded.
- Document policies and procedures.
- Provide timely audit support for internal and external compliance audits.
- 3-5 years of management experience overseeing a team of at least 5 or more.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred.
- Accounts payable manager role in a multi-unit high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and strong Excel skills preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive, critical thinker with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Accounts Payable on projects, audits, and team accountability.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
Pay Transparency: Min $75K - Max $90K
