Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engagement strategies to foster collaboration among independent and hospital-based physicians, aligning clinical vision, strategic incentives, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Guide and facilitate the integration of physicians into the strategic direction of Dignity Health, ensuring alignment with our mission and optimizing market position.
  • Engage physicians in the expansion of established clinical service lines into population health management-oriented services.
  • Establish a Physicians Strategy Council to discuss issues impacting physician practices and barriers to alignment with hospital goals.
  • Promote a multidisciplinary, outcome-driven approach to delivering consistent patient experiences with predictable outcomes.
  • Develop a clinical vision aligned with our operating model, transforming care delivery throughout the market.
  • Collaborate with hospital-based physicians to ensure swift, efficient, and compliant patient transfers, achieving exceptional clinical and safety outcomes.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD) or DO degree with an active medical license.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a specialty and 5 years of management experience in healthcare.
  • Current active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one US state or territory and prior (or current) Board Certification in a specialty.
  • If clinically active, a current active, unrestricted license to practice medicine must be in the state where the assigned facility operates, and Board Certification must be current.

Compensation: $181.48/hour
