Inventory Control Supervisor

At National Indoor RV Centers, we are looking for a Parts Manager to oversee our parts operations, ensuring exceptional service for both external and internal customers while maximizing profitability through effective parts sales, inventory oversight, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of the Parts Department business strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial and operational goals.
- Regularly assess and report on departmental performance metrics.
- Establish, communicate, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain an efficient and customer-focused Parts Department.
- Oversee internal systems for timely parts ordering and delivery, including tracking shipments and managing warehouse operations to meet customer needs.
- Foster and maintain relationships with all parts suppliers.
- Ensure accurate parts inventory management through regular physical counts and cycle audits.
- Guarantee availability of frequently used parts to support service operations; make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Submit parts warranty and return claims promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of parts transactions to provide clear audit trails.
- Analyze parts movement and trends to inform inventory decisions.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the parts area.
- Conduct regular safety meetings to promote workplace safety.
- Perform quarterly reviews of inventory to return unused parts to suppliers.
- Prepare management reports to track departmental performance.
- Review Open Purchase Order reports weekly to ensure accuracy and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Communicate regularly with management and service teams regarding vendor issues and parts availability.
- Meet established performance and productivity benchmarks.
- Lead recruitment, staffing, and development initiatives for team members.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with employees to address performance and development needs.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in parts or inventory management, with RV parts experience preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a parts department setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Basic understanding of financial principles related to parts operations.
- Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experienced in lean manufacturing and team development.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new information, with strong analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
