Job Summary

Bashas' is seeking a skilled Baker to join our Bakery team. As a key member of our production and merchandising team, you will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the Bakery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production and Merchandising: Mix, weigh, proof, bake, fry, decorate, finish, and merchandise quality bakery products using Bashas' recipes.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the ordering and receiving of bakery products and supplies, control product inventory and out of stocks, shrink, and supplies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure weights and pricing are correct using scale printer machines, monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, and use product shelf tags and shelf signage.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly bench, production area, storage area, and walk-in coolers and freezers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, display goods following bakery department and/or merchandising guidelines, and help decorators with personalization of cakes and icing of cakes, donuts, sweet rolls, and etc.
