Job Overview

As a Hose Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for executing assembly tasks to fulfill customer specifications and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct various assembly and storage tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Setup and operation of assembly machinery such as:
  • Cutting tools
  • Fitting assembly machines
  • Crimping devices
  • Lathe machines
  • Pressure testing equipment
  • Flushing stations
  • Pneumatic tools
  • Prepare finished products for customer delivery
  • Engage in cycle counting and/or physical inventory tasks
  • Utilize various warehouse machinery, including:
  • Employ computer-based systems (Bill of Ladings, small package manifests, PC applications, mainframe applications)
  • Interpret product schematics and/or catalogs
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and measuring tapes
  • Document assembly-related information on paperwork and/or in digital systems
  • Maintain all equipment following facility maintenance protocols
  • Execute all tasks safely, adhering to safety regulations
  • Support the Corporate Win Strategy actively
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in operating various assembly and cutting equipment, as well as forklifts
  • Ability to use measuring tools; tape measure, caliper
  • Basic mathematical skills; capable of converting decimals to fractions and plotting on a measuring tape
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
  • Computer proficiency is advantageous
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders

Starting pay is $19.34/hour with scheduled raises at 6, 9, 12, and 18 months. A $1.00 shift differential is included. The top rate reaches $25.29/hour after 18 months, contingent on satisfactory performance reviews. Eligible for profit sharing immediately. Comprehensive insurance benefits available upon hire. Paid time off, holidays, and a 401k plan with company matching are also provided.
