Assembly Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hose Assembly Technician to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. As a key member of our assembly operations team, you will be responsible for executing assembly activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various assembly and warehousing duties, including setup and operation of assembly equipment, such as saws, fitting assemblies, crimpers, assembly lathes, pressure testers, flush booths, and air-powered tools.
- Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers.
- Cycle count and/or perform physical inventory.
- Use various types of warehouse equipment, including computer-based programs, such as Bill of Lading and small package manifest.
- Read and interpret product prints and/or catalogs.
- Use measuring devices, such as calipers and tapes, for measurement of length.
- Record assembly-related data on assembly paperwork and/or in computer-based programs.
- Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures.
- Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
- Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy.
- Perform other related responsibilities.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment, cutting equipment, and fork lifts.
- Ability to use measuring devices, such as tape measurers and calipers.
- Perform basic math, including converting decimals to fractions and plotting on a measuring tape.
- Read and interpret written instructions.
- Computer experience a plus.
- Lift 20 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Job requirements include standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- General safety skills.
- Mathematical skills.
- Good housekeeping skills.
We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a starting hourly rate of $19.34, with raises at 6, 9, 12, and 18 months. Top rate is $25.29/hour at 18 months. Eligible for profit sharing immediately. Eligible for insurance benefits immediately upon hire. Paid vacation, paid holidays, 401k with company match, and company-funded pension plan.
