Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and skilled HR Operations Specialist to enhance our human resources department. This position is essential in managing various HR functions, such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be a versatile HR expert capable of working autonomously, juggling multiple responsibilities, and effectively engaging with staff across all levels.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Oversee the complete recruitment process, including job advertisements, candidate evaluations, interviews, and offer discussions.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Employee Engagement:
  • Act as the primary contact for employee queries and issues.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist management with disciplinary procedures and separations as necessary.
Benefits Management:
  • Manage employee benefits programs, encompassing health coverage, retirement schemes, and leave policies.
  • Support employees with benefits-related inquiries and coordinate enrollment periods.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain precise and current employee records and files.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Performance Evaluation:
  • Support the creation and execution of performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide managers with guidance on conducting evaluations, setting goals, and developing employee growth plans.
Training & Development:
  • Design and execute training initiatives aimed at enhancing employee performance and productivity.
  • Identify training needs through assessments and collaborate with management to formulate and implement training strategies.
Team Development:
  • Organize and lead team-building activities to strengthen team dynamics and morale.
  • Devise strategies to cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
Job Descriptions:
  • Draft and revise job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect current roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with managers to update job descriptions as necessary to align with organizational changes.
Policy Review:
  • Review and revise the employee handbook to ensure it aligns with current policies, procedures, and legal standards.
  • Ensure the handbook is distributed to employees and that they acknowledge receipt and understanding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources capacity.

• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
