Role Summary:

We are in search of an HR Operations Specialist with a minimum of 4 years of experience and expertise in human resources management. The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional demeanor, build effective working relationships with colleagues and managers across various regions, and have experience with multi-state compliance. SHRM/PHR certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute personnel policies aimed at continuous enhancement; prepare and sustain the employee handbook.
  • Collaborate and assist in recruitment initiatives, including job postings, interviews, and offer letters.
  • Organize, update, and facilitate new employee orientation in alignment with company core values.
  • Formulate and implement strategies for inclusion and diversity programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage employee personnel records and coordinate internship programs.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions during the due diligence phase and provide additional assistance as required.
  • Oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and employee separation notifications; analyze exit survey data and offer recommendations.
  • Contribute to the company's total rewards strategy.
  • Design, innovate, and manage employee engagement initiatives, including conducting employee surveys.
  • Support learning and development programs.
  • Administer policies, communications, space management, new hire setup, and other administrative tasks.
  • Act as a backup for payroll processing.
  • Assist in generating monthly reports requested by finance or management teams.
  • Provide immigration assistance for visas and aid in mobility and relocation processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirement:

Qualifications:
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
    • Comprehensive understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws.
    • Extensive knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
    • Proactive self-starter with the ability to independently identify needs and propose best-practice solutions.
    • Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Professional and approachable demeanor with a commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on HR management or lead roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in the communication or advertising sector and agency environments is advantageous.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
    • Preferred certifications include SHRM or HRCI.

  • Ability to hear, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Capability to read and verify documents for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using a keyboard and computer monitor.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Physical capability to walk, sit, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds.
