Position Summary:
The HR Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing the human resources functions at Nation Security Services, LLC. Core Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
Oversee the complete recruitment process, from job advertising to candidate selection and hiring.
Facilitate new employee orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
Employee Engagement:
Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and concerns.
Encourage a supportive workplace culture and enhance communication between employees and management.
Resolve workplace conflicts in a just and consistent manner.
Performance Assessment:
Assist in the creation and execution of performance review systems.
Provide support and direction to both managers and employees regarding performance standards and feedback.
Identify training requirements and coordinate professional development initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain comprehensive and current employee records, including personal details, job responsibilities, and performance metrics.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies as required.
HR Policy Formulation:
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and practices.
Communicate and enforce organizational policies to ensure uniformity and compliance.
Stay informed on HR best practices and industry developments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or a comparable position.
Familiarity with HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is advantageous.
