Role Purpose:
The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and controls within the university.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute a variety of audits in alignment with established professional standards.
2. Perform follow-up reviews to monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings.
3. Document audit procedures and results to support conclusions drawn from analyses.
4. Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit outcomes and recommendations.
5. Collaborate with university resources to investigate any suspected irregularities.
6. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the university.

Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree coupled with relevant experience in auditing or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Familiarity with auditing standards and principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Preferred Skills:
1. Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor or similar credential is advantageous.
2. Experience in higher education or non-profit sectors is a plus.
3. Proficiency in utilizing auditing tools and methodologies.

Work Environment:
This position may involve occasional extended hours during peak periods. The role supports a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
