Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop financial strategies that align with the overarching business goals.
- Reporting & Compliance: Guarantee timely and precise financial reporting while adhering to compliance standards set by investors and lenders.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
- Investment Oversight: Manage capital allocation and investment strategies to optimize returns.
- Treasury Management: Supervise cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity, maintaining bank relationships, and managing interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
- Risk Mitigation: Establish risk management protocols and develop contingency plans, including expense policies and corporate credit card controls.
- Audit & Tax Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, facilitating the audit process and ensuring compliance with corporate and payroll tax regulations.
- Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, lenders, and advisors.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with operational teams to drive efficiency and enhance profitability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the global finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA certification is mandatory.
- An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 12 years of senior leadership experience with a proven track record.
- At least 7 years in a leadership capacity managing a global team.
- Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Experience in fast-paced, lean-team environments.
- Successful history as a CFO or finance leader in a multinational professional services firm.
- Expertise in driving operational efficiencies and cost management.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, management systems, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting standards.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Hands-on leadership style characterized by maturity, intellect, and integrity.
- Commitment to delivering accurate financial results promptly.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team across diverse geographical locations.
- Experience engaging with executive teams, boards, and private equity investors.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite.
