Command Holdings is looking for a Financial Analyst Specialist to assist the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in enhancing financial planning, execution, reporting, and analysis throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycle.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and apply accounting lines, and generate Purchase Orders in the designated financial systems.
  • Retrieve and assess documents for fiscal accuracy, providing necessary clarifications or corrections.
  • Analyze financial data to identify solutions that enhance transaction processing efficiency.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor financial expenditure plans and contract financial information.
  • Conduct research on outstanding balances and investigate discrepancies.
  • Reconcile and resolve unpaid obligations effectively.
  • Compare hardcopy accounting records with electronic records to address any inconsistencies.
  • Identify trends and lessons learned to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics.

Additionally, you will assist in documenting existing processes, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date, and communicating new procedures to stakeholders.

Provide training and support for the Electronic File Cabinet (EFC) system, addressing any operational issues that arise.


Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000

Work Environment:
Moderate to occasional loud noise levels typical of a business office with computers, phones, and printers. Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods is required.

Physical Requirements:
While performing job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, talk, and hear. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer is necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel expected (0-10%).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
  • Experience in financial analysis and DOD accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in English and all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Management.
  • Experience in Budget Execution and Accounting Services.
  • Familiarity with the DIA organization and its functions.
