Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Civil Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the onsite Project Manager by overseeing daily subcontractor operations and coordinating field activities related to civil engineering projects. This position is essential for providing technical expertise in complex site work, excavation, and underground piping installations, leveraging extensive knowledge and experience in the field.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent technical training or relevant experience is required.
  • A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in underground utility construction and earthmoving is essential.
  • Familiarity with general and subcontract documents, technical drawings, specifications, construction methods, materials, and cost management practices.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project is advantageous.
  • Exhibit strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification is required or must be obtained during the onboarding process (training provided by the company).
  • Must acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License is necessary.
