Position Overview:

Support the millwright and/or supervisor in the assembly, installation, maintenance, disassembly, or relocation of various machinery and piping systems, including those for water, sewage, gas, processing, or chemical distribution.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: MA or CT plumbing or gasfitting license or completion of an apprenticeship.
  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent vocational education.
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • 1-2 years of experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, or related mechanical installation fields.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds, coordinate hand-eye movements, fully utilize hands and fingers, maintain balance while climbing, and possess good vision and hearing (with or without correction). Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch as needed.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to secure and keep a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
