Position Overview:

The Civil Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Project Superintendent on-site, overseeing daily activities of subcontractors and managing field operations related to civil projects. With expertise in site preparation, excavation, and underground piping installation, the supervisor brings essential knowledge and experience to the team.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent technical training and/or relevant experience is mandatory.
  • A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in underground utility construction and earthmoving is required.
  • Familiarity with general and subcontract documents, blueprints, specifications, construction techniques, materials, grading, surveying methods, and cost management procedures is essential.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with scheduling software (such as Primavera or Microsoft Project) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication are crucial.
  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification is required, or the ability to obtain it during pre-employment (company-provided online training).
  • Must obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening is necessary.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
