Job Summary

The Sales & Business Development Manager generates new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of RCC Holdings LLC's products and services. This position supports the company's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management

Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Sales Strategy

Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

Order Processing

Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

Market Research

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

Business Development

Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Customer Service

Resolves customer concerns by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Team Development

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Performance Reporting

Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions, answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members, teaching improved processes, and mentoring team members.

Communication

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.

Requirements

  • Thorough product knowledge of flooring, cabinets, and countertop materials used for single-family home residences required.
  • Strong hunter mentality with ability to achieve goals without direct supervision.
  • Ability to secure new business from existing relationships and make an immediate impact on the business.
  • Experience managing multiple customers at a time within a set geographical area.
