Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our Pharmacy team at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations, including scheduling, personnel management, procurement of medications, and sterile and non-sterile compounding.
- Participate in quality-assurance activities and represent the department on hospital-wide and unit-specific committees.
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and other clinical leaders to develop and implement departmental projects and services.
- Oversee and manage sterile compounding processes and hazardous drug programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop direct reports to support pharmacy operations and employee growth.
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Active District of Columbia pharmacist license.
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
- Advanced training in management or a related field.
- At least two years of hospital pharmacy practice experience and two years of pharmacy supervisory experience.
- Competitive salary range: $61.15 - $106.99 per hour.
