Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead our Pharmacy Department as an Inpatient Pharmacy Clinical Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, including scheduling, personnel management, procurement of medications, and sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of pharmacy operations, including scheduling, personnel management, and procurement of medications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including TJC, CMS, USP 797, and 800.
- Participate in quality-assurance activities and represent the department on hospital-wide and unit-specific committees.
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Manager, and Informatics Pharmacist to develop and implement departmental projects and services.
- Manage the staffing, recruitment, discipline, training, and development of direct reports to support pharmacy operations and employee growth.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Advanced training to obtain skills consistent with an MS, MBA, MPH, or equivalent managerial experience.
- At least two years of hospital pharmacy practice experience.
- At least two years of pharmacy supervisory experience.
