Position Title: Admissions Evaluator I
Position Type: Staff Full-Time
Department: Undergraduate Admissions

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the qualifications of applicant records in accordance with established university admissions standards and criteria. This role involves the timely evaluation of admission and residency by scrutinizing information from various sources, including student databases and application documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately enter data from applications, test scores, and transcripts.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of transcripts and maintain online transfer credit guides.
  • Determine institutional accreditation and student residency status.
  • Create and analyze applicant/admit reports for tracking and decision-making purposes.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding admission and transfer credit inquiries.
  • Participate in evening and weekend activities as necessary to meet operational deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in software such as Banner and Slate CRM.
  • Familiarity with university course descriptions.
