Position Title: Admissions Officer I - Senior II

Department Overview
As a vital link between the Graduate College and various academic departments, the Admissions Officer I - Senior II plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and ensuring exceptional service to graduate students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
1. Act as a liaison between the Graduate College and 15-20 academic departments.
2. Provide outstanding support to graduate students, faculty, and graduate programs.
3. Accurately and promptly input applicant data into the university's student information system.
4. Evaluate transcripts and application materials in a timely and precise manner.
5. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with graduate students and faculty.
6. Operate necessary electronic devices for application processing efficiently.
7. Process program admission recommendations with accuracy and efficiency.
8. Conduct thorough evaluations of domestic and international graduate applications.
9. Verify the authenticity of transcripts and the validity of degrees.
10. Maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures related to higher education admissions.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School/GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience in a similar role or three years in an external student services position.
