Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Asia Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Japanese-speaking guests, while also ensuring a seamless experience for all guests throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and friendly service to all guests, with a focus on Japanese-speaking guests.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests in both Japanese and English.
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Highgate Hotel Standards.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity and identify problem areas for implementation of solutions.
Requirements
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer experience required.
  • College course work in a related field helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Ability to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.
