Job Title: Asia Guest Service Agent

At Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asia Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Japanese-speaking guests, while also ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and friendly service to all guests, with a focus on Japanese-speaking guests.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests, both verbally and in writing.
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer experience required.
  • College coursework in a related field helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Ability to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to show initiative, including anticipating guest and operational needs.

Salary Range: $27.46/hr
