Position Overview:

As a Store Operations Leader, you will set the standard by leading from the front, fully engaging, and inspiring your team to excel in connecting customers with the solutions they need. You will oversee all aspects of a T-Mobile retail location. Familiarity with retail operations, including recruitment, scheduling, training, marketing, asset protection, and team leadership, is essential. You will serve as the primary contact for store personnel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations of team members' customer interactions, providing constructive feedback to enhance development, training, and coaching efforts, ensuring timely completion of required training.
  • Assist in resolving customer-related issues to enhance the overall customer experience with the T-Mobile brand.
  • Take ownership of store performance, addressing the work-related needs of team members, managing staffing and scheduling, maintaining labor controls, overseeing marketing efforts, and ensuring loss prevention.
  • Promote operational excellence by monitoring all store functions, tracking sales and inventory, managing sales performance, and implementing new initiatives.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment at all times.
  • Recruit team members who are enthusiastic about building lasting customer relationships and are passionate about the T-Mobile brand and technology.
  • Support your team through training, mentoring, and fostering behaviors that lead to customer loyalty and employee success.
  • Lead by example, staying informed about the latest products, services, training, and leadership practices to serve as a knowledgeable resource for your team.
  • Encourage team initiatives and cultivate an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Be accountable for the overall productivity of the store, driving operational efficiencies to minimize risks and safeguard store assets. Deliver financial outcomes based on key performance indicators and identify strategies to manage store expenses.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to your team's success through personalized performance management and recognition of achievements.
  • Ensure that store employees meet or exceed established monthly performance metrics.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets for the store.
  • Consistently uphold all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to work the needs of the business, which may include 44 hours or more per week.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of management experience in retail sales.
  • 1-3 years of sales and sales management experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in store management.
  • Understanding of store operations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

While fulfilling the duties of this position, the Store Operations Leader is frequently required to stand, lean, use hands and fingers, handle objects, talk, and hear. This role may involve working in a construction environment. Must be able to work a 40-hour week and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to stand or sit for extended periods is necessary, as well as the capacity to use both hands for fine and gross manipulation of small tools, such as computers and telephones. Vision must be sufficient to read handwritten and typed materials.
