We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team at Research Group. As an expert in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the market.

About You

With 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, and applications engineering, you possess the ideal blend of skills and knowledge to excel in this position. Your technical expertise in industrial manufacturing, equipment, machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automotive will enable you to effectively communicate with clients and provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive products, and customer needs to develop targeted strategies for increasing sales opportunities and margins.
  • Pursue specifications and approvals from engineering firms, major accounts, and distributors to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective response strategies and support divisions in planning strategy to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products, industry trends, and customer needs to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (technical or engineering degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, business development, and/or applications engineering.
  • Proven track record of success in selling direct to end-users and managing distributor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
