Territory Business Development Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Thompson Machinery. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with equipment customers within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building long-term relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing equipment operation and safety demonstrations for customers, promoting Thompson Machinery, CAT, and Allied Product lines, researching and coordinating resolution of discrepancies, and coordinating financing documentation. They will also develop sales proposals and/or presentations from customer inquiries, maintain adequate product knowledge, research equipment, parts, or Allied products to meet specialized customer requirements, and provide coverage for assigned territory by routine contact with existing customers and identifying new prospects.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This position requires minimal to moderate travel, generally within the territory. The successful candidate must reside in, or be willing to relocate to the area, to cover the assigned territory.
