The Healthcare Sales Consultant will report directly to the Senior Manager of Medical Sales USA.

Your primary responsibility will be to expand the existing client base while establishing new relationships with healthcare providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Healthcare Sales Consultant is tasked with identifying significant opportunities within their designated territory by 1) enhancing healthcare professional understanding, advocacy, and recommendations for Florastor through product education, and 2) driving current sales while simultaneously generating new business for revenue growth.

To excel in this role, you must possess a thorough understanding of the science behind Florastor and what differentiates it in the U.S. marketplace.

Moreover, you should be comfortable operating in a competitive sales environment where larger companies may dominate with extensive sampling and direct-to-consumer marketing strategies.

Your business insight and self-motivation will blend a data-driven approach with an inspiring presence to successfully meet ambitious yet achievable annual goals.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

We seek a dedicated, growth-oriented professional eager to positively influence both patient outcomes and our sales operations. The ideal candidate will take initiative in implementing and executing targeted sales strategies to surpass sales targets.

Occasional travel may be required.


The ideal candidate should have - 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in the Houston area, with the capability to work independently.

Additionally, you should demonstrate a strong ability to analyze sales data and formulate actionable plans to drive sales within the gastrointestinal market across your territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage a strategic business plan for your assigned sales territory to optimize sales and customer service.
  • Commit to ethical promotion within regulatory frameworks.
  • Support promotional activities and brand marketing initiatives through effective selling.
  • Deliver exceptional service to each customer, promoting excellence.
  • Utilize virtual meeting platforms to maintain continuous engagement with customers.
  • Expertly educate others on our product line, articulating features, benefits, and technical details while demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and clinic staff, using visual aids and multimedia.
  • Address customer concerns with empathy, guiding them towards commitment for product utilization.
  • Generate new account prospects through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit, maintaining open communication with team members.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to seeking new business opportunities and maintaining a high activity level.
  • Experience selling to major accounts in a designated region is preferred.
  • Leverage additional resources from Biocodex, including sales and marketing leadership, key opinion leaders, and internal specialists.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5 years of healthcare sales experience, including pharmaceuticals, long-term care, OTC sales, laboratory, or medical equipment.
  • Proven ability to analyze, plan, prioritize, execute, and exceed sales objectives.
  • Strong presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Excel for sales data analysis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business travel, including extended periods of driving.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently.
  • Frequent communication, visual acuity, and repetitive motion.
