Strategic Planning Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Specialist to join our team at IMEC Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining relationships with manufacturers, helping them define and achieve their long-term goals through expert advice, facilitations, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct consultation to manufacturers in the area of strategy and long-term planning.
- Manage project engagements, including facilitation of the Strategic Planning process, implementation of company strategies and goals, and executive coaching.
- Work with third-party resources and participate in IMEC's solution development and process improvement teams.
- Assist in proposal development and participate in sales presentations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience working with manufacturing companies, with a career progression that includes leadership responsibility.
- Job-related experience in strategic lean and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving, project management skills, and decision-making skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proven skills in coaching and mentoring others.
- Strong relationship management skills.
