Strategic Development and Marketing Director

Job Summary: The Greater Peoria Family YMCA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Development and Marketing Director to join our team. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to promote program and membership growth, as well as overseeing the association's capital development, annual campaign, and endowment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement operating plans to promote program and membership growth, ensuring that members and program participants connect with one another and the YMCA.
- Capital Development and Annual Campaign: Direct and coordinate association capital development, annual campaign, and endowment programs, working closely with the President & CEO to position the YMCA as a charity of choice.
- Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote the YMCA's mission and programs, including social media management, press releases, and media relations.
- Fundraising and Development: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure major gifts, grants, and other forms of support, working closely with the Director of Operations to prepare and coordinate proposals.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff and volunteers, including training and development, performance evaluations, and goal setting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Experience: One or more years of professional experience in fundraising, marketing, and leadership roles, preferably in a non-profit organization.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to relate to community leaders and diverse groups of people.
