Job Title: Component Application Specialist

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Component Application Specialist to lead and provide expertise in the development and implementation of global marketing and sales strategies for the Construction Industries Services division's Ground Engaging Tools (GET). As a key member of our team, you will own the Global GET Strategy, supporting the achievement of the GET Sales Annual Business Plan (ABP) with regional sales execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing and sales strategies for the Construction Industries Services division's Ground Engaging Tools (GET).
  • Take full ownership of the Global GET Strategy, focusing on key strategic pillars such as Bucket GET, Cutting Edges, Customer Value Agreements (CVA), and digital campaigns.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve global parts sales-to-user (STU) targets for Bucket GET and Cutting Edges.
  • Organize and lead global workshops for GET dealers, providing training and expertise to enhance their sales capabilities.
  • Conduct customer roadshows in key regions (America North, LATAM, Europe/Africa/Middle East, Asia Pacific) to showcase GET products and solutions, and gather valuable customer feedback.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Progressive and extensive experience in customer/dealer-facing roles, earthmoving construction equipment, product marketing, and/or commercial.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering price realization targets and launching new products.
  • Strong advocate for the customer and the enterprise, with a deep understanding of industry and product knowledge.
  • Exceptional consulting skills with the ability to influence and achieve challenging goals across the global Caterpillar enterprise.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a broad business background.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the organization's goals.
