Position Overview:

Join Marvin as a seasonal Shipping and Loading Associate, where your organizational expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of our premium window and door products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, sort, and process complete orders of Marvin windows and doors.
  • Efficiently and safely load products into trucks, maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Ensure the accuracy of products being scanned and loaded onto trucks.
  • Occasionally operate a forklift to move and deliver materials within the facility.
  • Accurately document departmental data and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain and repair shipping carts and racking as needed.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including power hand tools, scanners, and computers.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve mechanical or material issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts or industrial vehicles.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain the necessary forklift/industrial vehicle license.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work independently with precision.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry items weighing between 10 lbs. and 80 lbs.
  • Push and pull products weighing up to 85 lbs.
  • Bend, twist, stoop, and climb as necessary.
  • Stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
