Overview
The primary function of the Logistics Coordinator is to support our mission to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This role encompasses a range of operational responsibilities as directed by management, including the receipt and unpacking of daily deliveries, processing outgoing shipments, maintaining backroom organization, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the facilities.
Compensation
Salary Range: $15.00 to $17.00

Customer Engagement and Sales Support
- Verify merchandise invoices against received items to ensure shipment accuracy.
- Dispatch any alterations, layaways, or special orders to customers via shipping services.
- Ensure the accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer documentation.
- Confirm that all transfers are processed correctly and that shipped items match the orders.
- When preparing items for shipment, ensure they are neatly folded and placed in appropriately sized boxes for optimal presentation upon arrival.
Merchandise Presentation
- Remove any packaging materials from incoming merchandise.
- Attach security tags to each item in the designated areas.
- Organize and prepare merchandise for display on the sales floor, including steaming when necessary.
- Assist with in-store projects as needed.
Operational Duties
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and key retail dates based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Process incoming freight and store transfers through the register.
- Document discrepancies in store mail and maintain records for 30 days.
- Keep all shipment-related documentation organized and accessible.
- Identify and report security risks and theft incidents, knowing how to address these situations.
- Create shipping labels for outgoing packages and categorize them based on required transit times.
- Submit recalls and Return to Vendor (RTV) requests weekly.
- Maintain an organized stock of supplies (e.g., boxes, transfer bags, printer paper, hangers, sensors).
- Organize fixtures and shelving to ensure an orderly workspace.
- Engage in activities that promote a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain daily work files in an orderly manner.
- Report any policy violations to management promptly and confidentially.
- Provide feedback to management regarding merchandise handling issues.
- Uphold the company's Code of Ethics and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere while delivering high-quality customer service.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a retail store environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
