Position Overview

We are in search of a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to contribute to our operations.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of construction materials, tools, and machinery.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders or invoices.
  • Unload and unpack materials or equipment, verifying accuracy and proper storage.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately locating and packing items.
  • Process customer orders from stock in the warehouse or on the sales floor.
  • Assist sales personnel in confirming and invoicing delivery orders.
  • Load materials or equipment onto vehicles or prepare them for dispatch.
  • Conduct inventory counts and maintain precise inventory records using computerized systems.
  • Organize and arrange products in designated areas to optimize space.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to identify discrepancies and reconcile records.
  • Assist in resolving order discrepancies or customer complaints regarding products or shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure aisles are clear, shelves are well-maintained, and walkways are free of hazards.
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Report any equipment issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Provide support to colleagues during peak times or in their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for independent and team-based work.
  • Capability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing inventory software.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating Saturday schedule as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to following them.

Requirements for Success:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

  • Physical stamina for loading and unloading products.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Visual acuity to assess accuracy and thoroughness of work.
  • Ability to understand spoken communication and articulate clearly.
  • Normal hearing capabilities.
