Leave Administration Specialist

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled Leave Administration Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other health-related laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer FMLA and other leave policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Specialist to coordinate benefit payments for all leaves.
  • Provide expert guidance on leave administration to employees and management.
  • Process disability insurance claims and ensure timely communication with employees and management.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely communication with Payroll regarding employee contributions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three to five years of leave administration experience.
  • Prior experience with Ceridian Dayforce or UKG is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
