Contract Specialist Job Description

Volt is seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of free-standing ancillary provider contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration of free-standing ancillary provider contracts.
  • Issue and facilitate the execution process for new free-standing ancillary provider contracts, including signature by Senior Management and return of executed contracts to providers.
  • Write and distribute provider updates summarizing terms of new contracts for distribution to operational areas.
  • Load executed contracts to provider contract repository on SharePoint.
  • Update tracking list of unique contract provisions of new contracts.
  • Respond to provider contract questions and/or provide clarification regarding contract provisions to operational areas.
  • Provide copies of contracts, rate documents, and/or related contract correspondence to authorized parties, including Corporate Fraud and Investigation, Legal, Finance, internal and external auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with provider contract administration functions.
  • Experience in research and investigation, working effectively with all associate and management levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
