Job Description

Medication Administration Trainer

At Northern Children's Services, we are seeking a skilled Medication Administration Trainer to join our team. As a Medication Administration Trainer, you will be responsible for administering medication to residents, completing all duties consistent with agency standards and best practices, and monitoring the administration of medication by staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication to residents in a safe and effective manner.
  • Complete all duties consistent with agency standards and best practices.
  • Monitor the administration of medication by staff members.
  • Conduct training and re-certifications with staff annually.
  • Develop and implement a Medication Administration Program to train staff in safe medication administration.

Requirements:

  • Certification through the PA Train-the-Trainer program within the past 2 years.
  • Master's degree in social work, child welfare, or other social service field preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, or related social service field preferred.
