Job Title: Assistant Manager for Children's Residential Care

Position Details:
This role operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and is an off-shift position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire the team to provide exceptional care to our young residents.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies and effectively manage risks.
3. Facilitate clear communication with the team regarding daily operations.
4. Review and update care plans and related documentation.
5. Participate in comprehensive training programs tailored to enhance service delivery.
6. Attend and lead staff meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of our service model.
7. Advocate for the young individuals, employing positive parenting strategies.
8. Utilize positive support techniques, including de-escalation methods, to assist young people.
9. Support the Manager with daily operational tasks.
10. Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Manager.
11. Handle on-call duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:
- Full manual driving license is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including unsociable hours.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- A strong desire to progress towards becoming a Registered Children's Home Manager.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the well-being of our young residents.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Active participation in a dynamic and dedicated team.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from £31,000 to £35,000 annually.
