Position Overview:
Join Kansas Action for Children as an Accounts Receivable Manager. This role is pivotal in enhancing our financial operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our accounts receivable processes.

Job Summary:
As an integral part of our team, you will oversee the Accounts Receivable department, focusing on optimizing collections and improving financial procedures. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a team of analysts responsible for managing disputes, deductions, and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of analysts in executing collections-related tasks, including handling disputes and managing doubtful receivables.
  • Ensure all support functions and accounts receivable management are effectively carried out.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to address disputes and escalations efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders to resolve billing disputes.
  • Implement payment arrangements and manage escalations as necessary.

Team Leadership:
Provide coaching and guidance to your team to achieve outstanding results. Foster a culture of customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries and billing disputes effectively. Approve escalations and payment arrangements in accordance with company policies.

Operational Excellence:
Build and maintain trusted relationships with all levels of leadership and support teams. Quickly resolve operational and interdepartmental challenges. Communicate business strategies and results to empower your team to address customer issues proactively.

Performance Management:
Monitor quality and volume KPIs, ensuring that team training and departmental documentation are up-to-date. Lead projects for the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely completion and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 2-4 years of experience in People Management
  • 4-7 years of experience in Customer Service
  • 4-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to develop relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
