Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to:
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heavy construction machinery.
  • Conduct inspections and operate equipment to identify defects.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machinery using both manual and powered tools.
  • Assess parts for wear and damage using precision measuring instruments.
  • Replace defective components, including engines and transmissions.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform welding on broken parts and structural elements.
  • Oversee the cleaning and assembly assistance provided by other workers.
  • Maintain accurate records of time and materials used.
  • Plan and propose solutions for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist fellow maintenance staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Carry and manage tools and materials as required.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • Capability to provide valid documentation for employment eligibility.
