Position Overview:
As a Project Coordination Specialist at Kansas Action for Children, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our project management processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who excels in organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive project accounting assistance to Project Managers.
- Support Executive Leadership with administrative tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates, proposals, and contracts by conducting thorough reviews for accuracy.
- Maintain and update contract documentation using specialized software.
- Organize and streamline office procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of documentation, reports, and specifications.
- Manage project documentation controls, including submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and proposal requests.
- Track and report on Certified Payrolls for both internal staff and subcontractors.
- Perform various office administration tasks, such as answering calls, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel.
- Oversee licensing and registration processes.
- Manage field staff per diem paperwork.
- Plan and coordinate company engagement events and initiatives.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Complete expense reports for company card usage.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of project cost accounting.
- Experience with general ledger cost accounting is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to construction-specific software.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
