Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Manager to join our team at Penhall Company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the production, sales, and operations for a number of facilities in an assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operations plans to achieve total construction objectives
  • Direct the activities of sales, field, and administrative staff to optimize equipment, facilities, and personnel use
  • Review and analyze expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits
  • Approve requisitions for equipment, materials, personnel, and supplies within approved budget limits
  • Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations
  • Train and develop subordinate personnel and approve personnel actions
  • Coordinate efforts with Area Managers or Project Managers to maintain field operations at maximum efficiency
Requirements
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum of eight years supervisory experience in a related industry or environment
  • Advanced understanding of production methods, processes, and supervision of large groups
  • Good communicative, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
  • Proficient business development, marketing, and sales skills
  • Union Labor Relations and basic principles of labor/management partnerships
  • Management of resources, analysis of budgets, and related construction accounting
  • Human Resources recruiting, interviewing, hiring, discipline/coaching/mentoring
  • Construction Math and basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry
  • Computer/Office Machines Microsoft Work, Excel, Outlook
  • English proficient in business writing and verbal communication
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances
