In this pivotal role, you will act as the chief advocate for stakeholders, sponsors, and potential users within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that product decisions are in harmony with our overarching strategy, while meticulously vetting, preparing, executing, and delivering features and user stories to our clients.

This position requires collaboration with various teams to guarantee that proposed solutions effectively address customer needs, are practical to implement, and can be delivered profitably.

You will work closely with leadership to define the solution vision and roadmap, ensuring that the strategic intent outlined in business epics is accurately translated into actionable features and user stories. You will also determine when sufficient value has been generated to prioritize or defer lower-value items from the backlog.

Key Responsibilities:
- Align product decisions with the organization's strategic goals and effectively communicate the vision to all teams.
- Assist in defining success criteria and desired outcomes for business epics.
- Evaluate, prepare, execute, and deliver business epics, features, and user stories.
- Provide solution options that balance capacity and demand.
- Maintain a well-organized backlog of actionable tasks for cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring clear acceptance criteria are established.
- Represent the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and interests.
- Conduct user interviews to gain insights into customer challenges.
- Validate that work is prioritized according to strategic direction.
- Ensure alignment between delivered work and the strategic vision.
- Identify and manage risks and impediments related to backlog items.
- Coordinate product releases and change management activities.
- Prepare and communicate release notes to clients or internal users.
- Develop and monitor metrics to enhance processes and verify progress.
- Mentor and coach team members as necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of industry experience, including 2 years in a senior management role or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in product or service development, with a focus on measuring the value delivered to customers.
- Over 7 years of experience in solution design and engagement with full-stack development techniques, emphasizing end-user usability and UX design.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and propose impactful persona/outcome combinations.
- Experience in data engineering and management of logical data models, particularly in big data contexts.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficient understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration and representing interests effectively.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align product decisions with organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in vetting, preparing, executing, and delivering features and user stories.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey strategic vision and outcomes.
- Experience in conducting user interviews and research to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with backlog management and prioritization techniques.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies in product or service development.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing backlogs and dependencies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
