About the Role

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing people strategies that drive business results.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our retail Division, which spans approximately 1,000-1,600 stores and 22,000 colleagues. You will work closely with Regional Directors to develop and implement talent strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute divisional people strategies that align with business objectives
  • Provide thought partnership to Talent Development Business Partner and HR Director on talent mobility and development
  • Champion a change-capable organization that helps colleagues thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Broker consulting, project, and other work with HR Centers of Excellence, leveraging Enterprise resources and expertise
  • Share key insights and actions based on HR data and metrics
  • Leverage technology, tools, and resources to optimize organizational effectiveness
  • Recognize, articulate, and help shape company culture
  • Sustain Leader focus on engagement of colleagues; recognize trends; design and implement solutions
  • Facilitate dialogue and discussion to align others on values and encourage collaboration
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Human Resource experience
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time or as business needs require
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of HR generalist concepts; ability to identify business opportunities and develop and implement people strategies to address
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with field or senior business leaders; ability to coach and develop colleagues at all levels
  • Proven collaboration skills, within Division and with members of the HR Centers of Excellence
  • Strong strategic thinking skills; ability to develop, document, and communicate strategies
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Able to gather data, analyze issues, identify root causes, and address opportunities related to a diverse and dynamic slate of business challenges
  • Experience in recognizing development gaps and partnering across groups to solve them; strong facilitation and training skills
  • Ability to triage and prioritize competing priorities
  • Project and change management skills to respond to short and long-term business priorities
  • Ability to influence and drive action and accountability in others
  • Thoughtful and planful communicator

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
